NEX has opened a new workspace in Bangkok, giving our growing team more room to collaborate, develop the platform and support hospital partners across the region.
The new space brings together members of our product, engineering and machine-learning teams as we move from early deployments towards supporting NEX across more hospitals.
A Space to Build Together
We’re building software for complex, high-stakes clinical environments. Doing that well requires close collaboration between the people developing our technology, designing clinical workflows and working directly with hospital teams.
We like being in the room together: reviewing the product, working through technical problems, planning deployments and making decisions quickly.
Our new workspace gives us a shared base for that work, while creating more space for team discussions, focused development and time together as the company grows.
Supporting Hospitals Across Asia
NEX began through research at Imperial College London, but our work has always been international.
Asia is home to some of the world’s largest and most complex healthcare systems, many of which face growing pressure from healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
Bangkok has become an important base for NEX. It keeps us close to hospital partners in Thailand and across the wider region, helping us understand local infection-prevention challenges and develop the platform alongside the teams who will use it.
These partnerships are also helping us learn how Infection Intelligence needs to work across different hospitals, health systems and clinical environments.
Building the Next Stage of NEX
The workspace is a small but important step in NEX’s growth.
Over the coming year, our focus is on bringing NEX into more hospitals, demonstrating its impact in clinical workflows and continuing to build a platform that gives Infection Prevention and Control teams the intelligence to act earlier.
Most importantly, the new space gives our team somewhere to build that next stage together.
