The NEX platform is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA.
About This Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the NEX Intelligence Platform, a clinical web application developed by NEX Health Intelligence for use in hospital infection prevention and control environments. This statement was prepared on 25 May 2026. It was last reviewed on 10 August 2026.
Compliance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The NEX Intelligence Platform is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Automated testing was conducted using Google Lighthouse and WAVE (WebAIM). Our Lighthouse Accessibility score is 100/100, and our Best Practices score is 100/100. WAVE testing detected zero errors, zero contrast errors, and zero alerts, with an AIM Score of 10 out of 10. Colour contrast across the platform exceeds WCAG AA requirements.
Manual auditing has been carried out against all 55 applicable WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria. The majority of criteria have passed manual review, covering areas including keyboard operability, focus visibility, consistent navigation, error identification, and name/role/value for interactive components. A smaller number of criteria are not applicable to this platform (for example, those relating to audio, video, and timed media, which the platform does not use) or remain under active review.
Non-Accessible Content
The remaining areas identified through manual audit are being reviewed and addressed by our development team as part of our ongoing improvement programme. We are committed to resolving known accessibility issues in forthcoming development updates. Automated testing is supplemented by manual audit, and both are repeated as part of our development roadmap.
